Our Faith...
One great thing about living in the United States is that we have the freedom to choose and practice the religion of our choice. We at First Home Inspections respect each and every person's choice to what religion they believe and practice. Just as we desire the same respect in return. We don't have to believe the same way to be respectful to each other.
We are of the Christian faith and believe in Jesus as the only way to heaven.
The Bible tells us that Jesus was born of a virgin by immaculate conception by the Holy Ghost. He lived a perfect, sin free life. He willingly shed His blood and gave His life on the cross for our sins. He was buried in a tomb and rose on the third day and is still alive today sitting at the right hand of the Father.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
What is sin? Sin is anything you do that is wrong. A lie, even a little "white lie" is considered sin to God.
Romans 6:23a
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But God is loving and merciful on us
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us
He sacrificed himself for all of us, so that we may have a way to heaven. We only have to accept Him as our savior to go to heaven. How do we do that?
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
God even thought about providing you reassurance.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If you will Truly believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sin free life, died on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day, you too can be saved!
All you need to do is pray to God. Confess to him you are a sinner. That you believe Jesus did all of these things. Ask him to forgive you of your sins and ask him to come into you and save you.
It is truly that simple.
